Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs
Mission: To establish and maintain a well organized all volunteer program of sporting activities emphasizing teamwork, education, participation, competition, sportsmanship and pride.
Programs: Our goal is not only to provide participants with football and cheerleading skill development, but also to develop the skills needed to address everyday life issues and encourage model citizenship. We promote the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty and pride in our community through an organized and controlled environment to assist in teaching the fundamentals of football and cheerleading as well as character development. Studies have shown the benefits of participating in organized sports reduce many health risks and deter youth involvement in drugs and gang related activities. Djf provides this opportunity for the children of dunedin and surrounding communities. We would love to have your child experience this tradition as they grow and develop into mature young adults.
