Terrific vision and execution on projects. This organization sees the future of dencentralized conflict and has been putting together terrific resources projects to educate people on this issue.
Excellent vision! It is sad we have gotten to a point where organizations must exist for this purpose, but TCI does a great job!
So happy that this country has The Counterterrorism Institute on our team! We are living in a world that has become very dangerous and thanks to hard working dedicated people like these such people we can stay informed. Thanks for all your hard work!!!
I was only recently exposed to the 'goings-on' at CTI, but thus far, I am extremely impressed with the quality of information available. I really appreciate that the hard working individuals there make it their mission to educate people like me about both domestic, and international terrorism, a subject on which I am not as well versed as I would like to be. These people really live up to the mission on the website.
Too often, talking heads on the television spread incomplete information about terrorism. Thankfully, people like the good folks over at CTI are working hard to get the right information about how we can better prepare ourselves as lay people. I count myself lucky to be able to access the information that they provide!
One of the primary goals of terrorism is to instill a pervasive, foreboding sense of fear in the hearts and minds of its target. The Counterterrorism Institute demystifies, and in so doing, neutralizes that fear through educating the public on the facts and many nuances of the nature of terrorism. By empowering individuals through knowledge, The Counterterrorism Institute is actively undermining those whose goal is to instill a crippling fear- in essence, attacking terror at its very core. It goes without saying that this is a much needed and noble presence in the face of terror today.
As a disaster mental health professional, I know first hand the importance of education with regard to preemptive measures, such as stress inoculation, and post event interventions to promote resiliency and recovery. I think the Counterterrorism Institute is a critical addition to the resources available, as it complements my understanding from a mental health perspective with a more practical, yet philosophical understanding of the nature of threats we are dealing with. Because of the expediency with which information is made available by The Counterterrorism Institute, their blog is one of the first places I look in the tragic event of an act of terror. I know that the information that I am receiving is accurate, reliable, and understandable.
The Counterterrorism Institute (CTI) has provided the insight and tools on how to understand, counter, and recognize terrorism. Through various podcast series, live interviews, written and contributed articles by CTI, the institution has excelled in their efforts to bring such valuable information to the public at large. As a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, CTI is committed to use and share their knowledge and bring awareness in order to provide a safer future for generations to come. Because of their commitment and dedication to counterterrorism, it is an organization that nevertheless inspires the young and elderly to join in on their efforts. I applaud CTI for all that they do!
I feel informed with The Counterterrorism Institue. I believe they are a valuable source in informing the public on preparedness in the tragic event of being a target of terrorist. They speak clearly and without bias.
Every nonprofit has a mission, and CTI's mission is to educate and inform the public about how to better live in a world where terrorism is an unfortunate reality. It's a heavy task, but their team is dedicated, motivated and uniquely qualified to accomplish that mission.
The Counterterrorism Institute is one of the few nonprofits facing the issue of domestic and transnational terrorism, and contributing not only to well-informed discussions on the topic, but also educating and empowering people against it.
The Counterterrorism Institute works with local, national, and international leaders and organizations to advance a two-part counterterrorism strategy. The first being the elimination of the current terrorist threat, and the second being the identification and response to the many societal vacuums or voids in which violent ideology and radicalization thrive in order to stem the development of future generations of would-be terrorists.
I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the Institute in advancing its increasingly-vital mission. While it would be wonderful if such an organization didn't have to exist, the realities of today's world is that it is more necessary now more than ever. I look forward to working with you as the Institute continues to grow and develop as the leader in global counterterrorism.
