Programs: Sexual assault and domestic violence services: tcc provides crisis intervention, advocacy, and counseling to primary and secondary victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking and human trafficking. In fy15 tcc served 657 victims of sexual assault and 418 victims of domestic violence, 100 of the victims served were children. Crisis intervention includes staff and volunteers responding to the immediate needs of victims. During fy 15 tcc provided service to 62 victims in the emergency room and answered 157 crisis calls during after-hours. Tcc is the leader of the community sexual assault response team (sart). Advocacy services may include assistance to victims during hospital exams, law enforcement investigations, obtaining protection orders, and courtroom accompaniment. Tcc also helps victims make connections to other needed community resources. Ongoing counseling services are provided to primary and secondary victims. Counseling is continued for as long as the victim wishes. Tcc provides emergency financial assistance to victims who need help with transporation, rent, and other necessities.

batter intervention: tcc works in conjunction with minnehaha and lincoln county court systems, cps, and the parole office to assess men and women who use power and control with their partners. Tcc offers a 25 week class to batterers to help them identify and change their abusive behaviors. When a batterer is referred by an outside agency, tcc keeps that agency informed regarding attendance.

cacfamilyadvocateservices: tccprovidesafamilyadvocateatchildsvoice (a child advocacy center). The family advocate provides education, emotional support, and information and referral services to non-offending care givers of children who are interviewed at child's voice as part of an abuse investigation. Many children who receive services at tcc are seen at child's voice initially.
