Mission: To preserve and porotect green space in Cobb County Georgia that has conservation or historic value to the community.
Results: Since 1992, McFarlane Nature Park has hosted boy and girl scouts, Awana and cubs, birthday parties and church groups, plen aire artists and photographers. Display gardens,maintained by county master gardeners, familiarize visitors with native plants.
Target demographics: Adults 25-64 for whom hands on conservation is a high priority and children 7-14 who are enriched by the interaction with nature.
