Results: After opening in 2005 as a ministry to those in need, The Clothes Closet expanded its services in 2008 as thousands of evacuees from Hurricane Katrina poured into the East Texas area. Since that time, the organization has continued to grow and add to the services offered, free of charge, to anyone who enters our doors.

Geographic areas served: Jacksonville, Texas
Programs: a clothing room, sack lunches on Fridays and Saturdays, Basic and Intermediate computer classes, job resume and job search help, tutorials for elementary students, school uniforms, a community garden, a food pantry, emergency medication, housing, and blankets, help for fire victims, and Coats for Kids.
