Mission: The clinical research forum is an organization comprised of the nation's prestigious and acclaimed academic health centers whose goal is to sustain and expand a cadre of talented, well trained clinical investigators at all stages of career development, and support nurturing environments and comprehensive research capacities within academic institutions. The mission of the forum is to provide leadership to the national clinical and translational research enterprise and promote understanding and support for clinical research and its impact on health and health care.

advocacy-the forum works to advocate for increased support for clinical research and a heightened awareness of the essential role that academic health centers have in alleviating human suffering and improving the quality of life.
patient advocacy initiative--the forum sponsored a survey and white paper in collaboration with key volunteer health associations and patient groups to identify mutual interests and to develop a pathway for partnering in the future.
