Mission: We’re a think-tank, do-tank working collaboratively to turn bold ideas into action for a climate-safe future. Our mission is to rapidly reduce climate pollution at scale, starting in California.
Target demographics: Our work is driven by three key principles: follow the latest science, prioritize climate justice and equal access to climate solutions, and secure a just transition for fossil fuel workers.
Geographic areas served: Since 2001, The Climate Center has been a leader in California making climate solutions a reality in at speed and scale.
Programs: Our Climate-Safe California campaign focuses on four key areas: Cut - cut greenhouse gas emissions Deploy - rapidly deploy local clean energy Drawdown - remove past carbon pollution from the atmosphere Fund - scale up equitable climate solutions
