Mission: The Brian Seibert Memorial Fund was founded in 1997 upon the demise of Brian who bravely fought Hodgkins Disease for 11 years. The Fund''s main focus is to assist financially families in need whose child is terminally ill with cancer. The Fund strives as well to lend whatever emotional and physical support the family may need, as well as implementing the wishes or requests of the child.
Programs: The Fund functions on an as needed basis. Area oncologists and social workers are usually The Fund's line of contact, and through the information they provide us we are able to become actively involved. The Fund's goal is to somehow ease the tremendous pain that the family is going through. By inaugurating a weekly financial gift to the family, we allow a parent to take care of their child in his or her remaining days, hoping to help alleviate some of the financial problems that inevitably exascerbate the family's emotional trauma.
