Mission: The organizations mission is to present a vibrant, comprehensive, long-term master plan for the city of sarasota and its community that is financially feasible, operationally viable and environmentally sustainable.
Programs: The sarasota bayfront planning organization is leading the creation of a comprehensive, long-term master plan that delivers on the communitys expectations with a plan that is financially feasible, operationally do-able, and environmentally sustainable. The program focuses on the adopted community vision and guiding principles aspiration, cultural heritage, bayfront natural assets, activation, connectivity and sustainability.
the gulf coast community foundation has a project fund in the name of the sbpo which has collected all contributions that have been raised. As of december 31, 2017 a total of 1,724,762 had been raised and received in the fund. A total of 344,560 in expenses were paid by gulf coast community foundation on behalf of the sbpo.
