Mission: A volunteer nonprofit, citizen-support organization created to generate public awareness, education, and financial support for the preservation and maintenance of the barnacle historic state park.
Programs: The barnacle society, inc. Provided payment of funds for a number of repairs and improvements to the barnacle, a florida state historical park which is visited by thousands of people each year. In 2017, the organization provided funds to maintain and improve the site's grounds, historical boat, damage resulting from hurricane irma, and upgrades to equipment for fire protection. The society also provided new tools and computer repairs for use at the historical site.
