We couldn't be happier with Coach D and his team at TGK! These guys bring the energy and effort everyday and our kids are growing as players and as young men because of it. Coach Kyle, Coach Scott, and the rest of the staff go above and beyond for their players and always have a positive attitude and are very encouraging. Keep up the great work TGK, your community appreciates you!

Thank you TGK Athletics for all the support and dedication to her while helping her along with this great journey. What’s amazing is what she has been able to accomplish within two months of dedicated training. To anyone looking for the best here it is. Believe in the process and be willing to grind. There is nobody in the Maine that can offer this level of training. To our daughter we are very proud of you and here to support you achieve your dreams.

Along with a high level of professionalism in coaching I experienced Coach D’s very nonprofessional approach in dealing with an accident that happened in TGK facility.
My two sons, 9 and 6 years old, were attending a summer camp program and one day were left with two other older girls who were supervising them. As my boys stated, girls started throwing basketball balls at them and making fun out of that. My two sons and another boy who was there as well started running away from them and hiding. One of the girls said “Let’s take tennis balls - they hurt more…” When my 6 years old boy started hiding balls thrown at them, one of the girls approached him, pulled his ring finger in opposite direction, and tackled him to the ground. My boy ended up with a broken finger!!!
When I picked them up from the summer camp, no one among TGK representatives mentioned about the incident. On our way home in the car, I realized how stressed they are, and my boy showed me his bruised and swollen finger. Nobody in TGK believed them.
Several days later I was just told that a girl is crying and apologizing. The meeting with the kids and their parents was never managed. I still do not know what the names of these girls are and how old they are. Coach D keeps referring to the cameras, but I was never shown the cameras. Coach D said that he will take care of the medical bill and offered 1 free week of camp. Why did he take financial responsibility skipping parents meeting? Wouldn’t it be girl’s parents’ financial responsibility? Why there was a need to inquiry my boys (without my presence and consent) about the incident, especially if he checked the cameras?
When I asked other parents contact information, Coach D said it is illegal.
I know, overall, the community has a great experience with TGK, but, unfortunately, Coach D did not leave me with any other option except to find legal way to contact parents and involve DHS office authorities in investigation process.
