Mission: Promote and maintain a high standard of integrity and efficiency in the conduct of the restaurant business throughout the state of texas, and specifically in beaumont and the surrounding areas; foster and promote a feeling of goodwill and fraternal spirit amoung its members and to advance on broad and equitable lines the welfare and progress of the restaurant industry; maintain its chosen vocation amoung respected industries; oppose methods and practices inimical to the right conduct of the restaurant business; further promote harmonious relationships with allied industries; promote and assist in the enactment and inforcement of local, state and federal pure food and sanitation laws, and to otherwise promote and encourage better sanitation in the industry; desseminate useful information and inspire members to further educate themselves in the practical features of their business; encourage the participation of the association and its members in the community, state and civic activities
Programs: Promote restaurant quality and make positive contributions to the community through fund-raising events that benefit local charities providing food and services to the needy and indigent, as well as to educational agencies/organizations benefiting the community - four agencies/organizations benefited and eight young people who raised livestock that were sold/auctioned and the meat was donated to local charities
promote and maintain a high standard of integrity and efficiency in the conduct of the restaurant business, promote and encourage better service to the public, and the sale of appetizing and wholesome food, by promulgation of modern and effective business principles, and maintain its chosen vocation among respected industries by providing scholarships to 9 young people entering the restaurant management & hospitality industry and grants for scholarships to 1 organization providing education and training in the food service industry.
