Causes: Equestrian, Sports
Mission: Tetra is a texas nonprofit organization. It's mission is to promote all phases of trail riding as a family activity and to educate the public as to the care and conditioning of the horse for trail activities, environmental responsibilities, trail etiquette, and safety, to establish, improve, and maintain trails and to maintain the love of equine in texas. In furtherance of the purposes, tetra has entered into memorandum of agreement with texas park and wildlife to facilitate activities, promote equestrian use of designated sites, and to provide funds and volunteer labor to develop and maintain trails at state parks and corps of engineers lakes throughout the state. Tetra has built equestrian camping facilities, pens, wash racks, and a covered barn and has developed miles of trails at numerous parks. Tetra has also partnered with texas a&m university, the lower colorado river authority, and the us army corps of engineers on various projects.
Programs: Promote trail riding as a family activity. Educate the public as to the care and conditioning of the horse for trail activities, environmental responsibilities, trail etiquette, and safety.
