Mission: To provide law enforcement stress management and critical incident stress debriefings for law enforcement officers and agencies in tennessee.
Programs: The tennessee public safety network provided training for 69 officers, including four dispatchers, three chaplains, and eight mental health professionals, preparing each of them to join the network and therefore provide volunteer services to law enforcment officers and agencies within tennessee who have experienced critical incidents. During the 2009-2010 fiscal year the network debriefed over 600 officers, provided crisis intervention services to ten officers, and stress inoculation training to over 500 recruits at training academies and to over 300 additional officers in various agencies.
the network provided services to the shelby county government which included interventions as needed, training of all new recruits in their academy, debriefing for all officers involved in critical incidents, and cisd training for recommended officers for team membership.
