I was a resident of Teen Aceres in the mid 80's. Always wondered what ever happen to the place and if was still going.
I too was in teen acres I graduated in 1990 I was there for a while not sure how long my name is Tabitha Bennett I had fun there and it taught me a lot about life and family. Dorothy and Everett were great people they were very understanding and always there to help us when ever we needed it .
I was at teen acres in 1984. The work Dorothy and Everett Duncan has done for us girls cannot be put in words. Kids comming from a variety of backgrounds got introduced to a normal, spiritual life, with a huge loving caring family. Their whole family was involved with us girls. 38 of us when I was there. Any one that can help them financially, I highly recommend it. They take very good care of their residents and the changes they make for women can not be made with any amount of money but it would be nice to see them receive a financial blessing. I wish I could do it myself.
