Techqueria has not shown any competence in their leadership of the community, have not offered any significant programs or support for the membership, and refuse to answer questions on its decisionmaking.
Since the pandemic, there has been no active involvement by the chapter directors to increase community involvement despite the ease of hosting virtual events. Local chapter communities are relying on self-gathering hosting meetups on their own.
The organization seemingly keeps up its efforts to solicit and raise money from corporate sponsors but I have not seen any evidence that this new funding is being reinvested into the community and increasing skills or mentorship for any of its community members.
I am highly disappointed in this community and how they've continued to deflect questions and ignore the real needs of the community they claim to represent.
