In my opinion, Tangency is an amazing non profit that aiming to create an equitable environment for people in lower socioeconomic regions of the world. The leader of the organization was so driven and clearly passionate about his pursuits and goals for the organization that I was left inspired and hopeful for the future. Overall, I feel that this organization is definetly worth investing in, be it time or money, due to its platform of encouraging students to pursue STEM fields in order to benefit the environment and people living in it
I volunteered to help clean up Alfred Ring Park with great friends and it was an uplifting experience to see the how visitors and campers just leave small amount of trash and it can be harmful to the environment. It was great to give back to the community.
It was a chill time potting some plants. We also got to meet a bunch of people at the discussion. Tangency is pretty cool
Had such a great time during the clean up over at Sweetwater Preserve! We got to see some really cool animals as well, including this beautiful hawk mother nursing its babies with a freshly caught fish! The nest was over 4 feet long, and it probably weighed about as much as all the plastic we got out of the river section we cleaned.
Starting this organization with Tomer was long-awaited and truly affirmed my belief in the power of education. With the help of our volunteers we have been able to and will continue to create a more conscious society, one person at a time!
I've seen this group go from myself and two friends to a group of 13 committed volunteers and staff, as well as volunteers who have joined us for projects. Without Itai and Albert, the other two founders, Tangency wouldn't be what it is today, and without the help of our interns and staff, I couldn't say we'd have made it off the ground at all. I hope we can continue to make small drops in the bucket, and one day quench the fire that rattles our environment!
