Mission: Tabor academy focuses its academic programs to inspire a life-long love of learning, to instill a passion for the highest standards of achievement, to encourage personal responsibility, and to foster care for others and committed citizenship.
Programs: Tabor academy educates approximately 500 students. As the "schoolby the sea," tabor sustains a unique maritime heritage thatembodies, in all its programs, the qualities a seagoing liferequires: thoughtful preparation for, and awareness of the widerworld, perseverance, courage, good humor, a sense of direction,and humility. Tabor's faculty commit themselves to balancing highdemands with genuine affection for their students and to fosteringrelationships founded on the compassion, personal integrity, andtrust that anchor tabor's community.
tabor academy provides accomodations and auxiliary services forboarding students as a part of their education. These services areprovided at a nominal fee in order to cover costs. Such servicesrange from the provision of utilities to recreational activities.
