Causes: Arts & Culture
Mission:
Sweetwater Center for the Arts mission is to enrich the lives of children and adults in the communitites we serve by providing excellence in arts education and cultural programming.
Programs:
Annually, Sweetwater offers more than 520 classes in the visual, performing, and culinary arts to both adults and children beginning at age 3. We offer a variety of classes in ceramics/sculpture, cooking, music, drawing, painting, photography, dance, jewelry, fiber arts, and traditional crafts, and we provide full and partial, need-based scholarships to those who might not otherwise be able to afford classes. Sweetwater’s goals are to provide excellence in educational arts programming; to cultivate an appreciation and support for the arts; to make the arts accessible; and to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction and service quality.
