Mission: To provide services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and work to prevent violence in our community.
Programs: Provide assistance to victims of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse for the people of swain county and the surrounding counties. Services include temporary shelter and counseling.
a thrift shop is operated to raise additional funds for operating the shelter. Donated items are sold as well as used by shelter residents when leaving the shelter to live in their own homes. The thrift shop also provides employment for shelter residents.
