Suz Crew is a small grass roots non-profit that can do big and meaning things for those battling cancer. They don’t fund research like the big non-profits; instead they help one family at time. They can provide help to families who are having a tough time making ends meet while one of their own is battling cancer. All members of Suz Crew are motivated, caring and looking for ways to make a difference in our local area. Their story is one of inspiration.
I found out about this organization from a school mates daughter. While her aunt Sue was battling this horrible disease, we would pray and always lift her aunt Sue up! When she sadly passed away and her family began this organization I wanted to do something. I bought the first t-shirts that they made, rubber bracelets with the "Suz Crew" logo on them, a phone case and was just trying to show them support. My nephew at age 4 was diagnosed with leukemia so this was close to me. I have directed a friend who is battling cancer to this foundation for help. But what I like the best is all the funds raised are utilized in the community. This is a GREAT organization and if you need to donate to a worthy cause, SUZ CREW, is it!! God bless you all!
I have purchased some Suz Crew items not knowing that shortly after a member of my family would need their help. Suz Crew was there to help pay my cousin pay her bills while having to take her 3 year old daughter back and forth for treatment for leukemia. Fighting the war, not the cure is their motto and they are true to their word. Thank you Suz Crew and God Bless you all!!
I grew up with Suzanne who is the role model for SuzCruz, purchased a t shirt to help support their cause. Most recently my sister in law has been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. I remember reading on Suz web site about prayer shawls that are donated to cancer patients, after contacting them , I was sent a beautiful shawl for her. As she goes through all her treatments & is hospitalized the peace & warmth is felt with this shawl. So thank you to Suzanne's family for continuing to make others with cancer feel the inner peace by giving back. Lynn Lupetin Grays
