Mission: The organization's mission is to treat the uninsured. The organization offers free outpatient medical care, opthalmology. Gynecology, dental, podiatry, and counseling services. The clinic provides eye glasses at a low cost or no costs. The organization also works with hospitals and medical professionals in the area to provide free testing and medical servies to the uninsured.
Programs: Internal medicine - treat the uninsured for routine health issues/illness; send patients for lab tests; dispense medicine; refer to specialists-surgery; cardiology, stress testing, podiatry, xrays, & mamograms. These patients have no medical insurance and have not received medical care for some time. Many patients have sever untreated medical problems that have been left untreated due to loss of or no medical insurance.
international outreach - the organization expanded its mission to include global health care to the uninsured. The organization partnered with lecom integrative medicine to provide and sponsor a medical mission team to the dominican republic in march 2017. In addition to providing free medical care, these mission teams included mentoring and training opportunities for students in the medical profession.
