Causes: Health, Voluntary Health Associations & Medical Disciplines
Mission: The mission of the organization is to raise and distribute funds to help children fighting cancer. The organization receives in funding by the general public through donations and the sale of merchandise.
Programs: Donations - largest program and primary function of organization. Mandante is to help children in united states 18 and under who are actively in treatment or have concluded their treatment within 6 months of a donation request. Goal is to deliver over 85% of each donation given to us directly to children in need.
follow-up with children we have helped - once we donate to a child, we follow-up with them throughout the year and provide cards or gifts for special occasions such as birthdays and treatment milestones. Also provide information to families in need such as referrals to other organizations, assist with insurance questions, and be available to talk to parents dealing with hard times.
fundraising events - to fund all of the above activities, we have serveral fundraising events throughout the year. The founder's even is our largest annual source of donations and is held annually in mid-december. Also host a variety of dynamic events annualy and rely on volunteers and donations to drive what they are.
