This is a fabulous charity run by an amazing woman. No child is turned away. Her costs are enormous. She does auctions on her Facebook page of this same name. Check her out!

This organization brings light to little ones when their day be nothing but dark. Their fundraiser events are fun for the entire family. Not stuffy galas geared to adults.

A few months ago, I received a call from Amy of Superheroes Believe in Miracles. She asked if I, a local photographer, would be interested in taking pictures for a calendar featuring local children battling chronic or serious illnesses. Their mission is to make kids feel like the superheroes we know them. I was truly humbled, but the most humbling moment of our journey was meeting the four incredible children who Superheroes Believe in Miracles is going to be highlighting in the 2021 calendar. Amy attended each of the four photoshoots, sat with the families and interviewed them, However, they were not traditional interviews, it was more of old friends sitting down and talking about their children, their struggles and how each of the children and their families are thriving in the midst of challenges.

In addition to organizing a fantastic calendar featuring real life superheroes, Amy celebrates each of her superheroes birthdays by sending thoughtful gifts to the children.

I have be extremely fortunate to be involved with many wonderful organizations, however meeting Amy and being part of the Superheroes Believe in Miracles was by far one of the most heartwarming and humbling experiences I have been blessed with.

Oh my! This group is AMAZING in all they do for these kiddos with health issues! They go out of their way to make them feel and know that each and every kid is loved and share the medical journey they go through. My daughter is 12 and loves being apart of this group! She always gets excited when mail comes from the group and can't wait to see what's in there! Thanks so much for always putting a smile on her face!

My daughter suffers from Lyme disease, PANDAS, and a vaccine injury. When she was fighting her toughest battles to go into remission Superhero’s believe in miracles sent her cards and small gifts of encouragement to help her through her battle. These acts of kindness gave her motivation and courage to keep fighting even on her hardest days. To this day she still looks for a her birthday card from them. This organization is absolutely wonderful and we are very thankful for it! Thank you so much for all you are doing!

Super Heroes Believe in Miracles gave our son Toby Collins a new outlook on his life and more confidence in his life when he needed it the most. Toby was chosen to be Captain America for the first calender. That opportunity has lead him to meet another Captain America Anthony Warneck which was a great day for Toby!
Our family can never thank you enough!

I’ve been following this organization for a several years now. My autistic son has received a couple of birthday surprises and it’s always so lovely receiving a love package from them. I always share their page to other families that may benefit from it and to friends to donate when able. It’s such a positive and loving organization and I could never say nothing but love about it.

A couple years ago Super heroes got a hold of me via Etsy because of my store. At the time I wasn’t able to donate a fidget quilt but offered to make some birthday cards. I made and sent a few hundred. Ann sent me a box full of stickers for making more. It is always touching to see a card I created in a child's hands when their family shares s photo. Ann had also blessed me with a calendar. I had no idea that a dear friend of mine would benefit from this lovely non-profit when her youngest son was diagnosed with leukemia this year.

This is truly amazing charity, that does amazing work. Run by an amazing lady, always upbeat and does innovative auctions and new and different ways to raise awareness to raise funds to do amazing things for these children. And still had time to help other organizations with their causes. Truly a superhero in my eyes.

My son Hendrix is a medical mystery. At 10, he is not yet diagnosed, but has a very long list of medical complications. This organization is wonderful beyond the scope of words. They put the spotlight onto children that tend to be forgotten since they do not fall into the cookie cutter category. They highlight each child's strengths, and they build them up in such a way that said child can't help be feel empowered. And as a parent, to see my child acknowledged publicly for the Superman I know him to be is nothing short of amazing. This whole team rocks!!!!!! We need more people like this in the world.

I have recently heard and followed this non-profit. In the short time I have been following them, I can see they have hearts of gold! I have viewed the pictures they post of the children opening their birthday packages, and it always brings a smile to my face, and a tear in my eye. You can truly tell they put a lot of time and effort into brightening a child's day. I wish them only good things as they continue this service of caring and compassion!

I stumbled upon this charity when Amy reached out to my Etsy page asking if we would be willing to donate. I was blown away when I saw the enormous operation she runs in bringing light to children’s lives. What a beautiful charity and I’m so grateful I was introduced to it. Hoping she continues to light the world with her work ❤️

I "met" Amy through Facebook. I started bidding on the items she posted every night to raise money for her nonprofit. My daughter has special needs and therefore, I gave Amy her birthday. She doesn't just send 1, 2 or 3 gifts for her birthday, she sends a package of about 6-9 gifts. She always advertises fundraisers and events for not only SHBM, but other charities. She's never pushy, never asks for anything and delivers in a timely fashion. This is the best nonprofit and I spread the word whenever I can! Kudos to Amy for being one of the most thoughtful, considerate and caring people I know. You deserve more than everything!

She touched my heart as a truly self-less person & gives 1000% to this Charity & helps other charitable organizations like a Drive for the Ronald McDonald house, St. Jude's Children's Hospital. I am fortunate enough to serve on the board for this amazing charity. Amy began the mission to make sure that special "superheroes" would receive a package of goodies around their birthdays. It has now grown into a wonderful organization that sends these gifts to more than 2000 children annually. These superheroes are battling any chronic illness. The packages and the postage cost money. We do not turn down a new superhero. They stay on our recipient list until they turn 19. We rely on our donors to make our mission successful. Please consider donating to this nonprofit to help bring smiles to the superhero children we serve.

Superheroes Believe in Miracles is truly a wonderful organization that gives to its community in amazing ways. The organization is generous and compassionate in living out its mission. The fundraising efforts the organizers plan receive wonderful responses from the community which proves the buy-in for what the organization is trying to accomplish. We have received a birthday package and it was appreciated. It is so important to celebrate differences in people and spread the word to accept and love one another.

I have had the unique opportunity to volunteer with the charity and also receive from the charity, as my daughter is a superhero that receives a birthday package yearly. Amy and her crew of volunteers work tirelessly to bring smiles to the kids. I have enjoyed all of my interactions with SBIM and have encouraged my girl scout troop to volunteer as well. They love helping out such an amazing group, and I do as well.

This is my favorite! This woman is truly inspiring in all she does for the children. I support the organization and the auction page 100% the auction page helps cover expenses of items and mailing.. Even through tragic personal events this year that happened to her personally, she still continued to send those smiles out to the children..

There were days when I had felt all alone in caring for my soecial needs little boy, and the frustration that came along with it. This non profit organization has allowed me to know #1, that we are not alone, #2, that the community has much to offer in support. The auctions, fundraisers, activities that are provided are so encouraging. The work involved in giving these special children a gift, specially made for them, is priceless.
