Mission: Provide a comfortable home for gentle horses and other animals who are injured, retired, deformed or rejected.Gather children who could attain personal growth in an environment where adults teach and exhibit compassion.Help children to discover alternatives to: drugs, violent behavior, gangs, early sexual experimentation, excessive computer games or television and feelings of isolation or loneliness.Encourage children to portray gentle kindness with animals and one another who are vulnerable, disabled, different or unpopular.Help children identify personal strengths and interests and enable them to feel the satisfaction of personal accomplishment.Educate about animals and the environment and how they relate to humans, through discussion and providing learning materials.Inspire children to participate in all aspects of animal husbandry, such as grooming, nursing care, stall care, feeding, giving of tactile and verbal affection, as well as horseback riding and arena games.
