Wow! It was so nice to read all those many negative comments about this company I'm not the only one really that hates them with a passion because they're the most horrible place in the world. Thank you all for sharing the same comments like this maybe will it ever hit home to these people how horrible they are and stop being so damn horrible. I swear all they are is a bunch of greedy you know what I'm trying to be nice and not use my regular wording I don't know why cuz I sure as hell don't whenever I call them and they get stupid with me on the phone.

First of all let me start by saying THANK YOU to all the hard workers at sunshine financial for their services and for putting up with rude ignorant people including me with my mental illness . They are mostly there for me and real with me I've had this company for several years now and they always payed my bills on time every month and I'm very appreciative of them thank you to all the workers at sunshine financial.

I was a sunshine financial payee client for years. It was the worst thing I did. They were rude and mean. They talk to me like I was retarded. They would not give me money from checking account so I can switch to a different car insurance company. They never called or send me a letter saying that Social Security was stopping my benefits and they never sent the information that Social Security wanted, so that why Social Security stopped my benefits. Sunshine Financial Payee never told me they were no longer my payee.
If i could give these people a zero minus i would first of all if you're a payee over anyone you should make sure that they have money to keep up their personal hygienes they were a payee of a woman who lived with me she smelled like she didnt bathe in 2 years the odor was so very bad from her body til it lit up my whole livingroom i had to eventually put her out for bad hygienes because we couldnt take the smell any longer
This is an awful company. I had a tenant that they withheld his rent for months, issued him checks he couldn’t cashed for personal needs. They didn’t care if he went homeless had no money but they sure did check collect $40 out of his little $750 seriously thieves. I confronted them in an email and they told me they didn’t appreciate my email please be aware! Heather Mead RN
I have had so many problems with Sunshine Financial Payee.
First off, the way they treat you on the phone is horrible. They talk down to me like I am a child. They are rude and inconsiderate. Nothing is handled in a professional manner.
My other complaint is, I received an electric bill for the month of august 2021. It was about 130.00. Which left me with no spending money for the month. I understand that was not their fault. However, the following month we had a new air conditioning unit put in and a new meter outside. We called Sunshine Financial Payee and let the know the new circumstances of our electric bill towards the end of the month in August. apparently, they did not take note of it in their system. Because, when the next bill came out they assumed it would be another 130.00, which was incorrect. It took us a week and a lot of miscommunication to figure out what the mistake was. Their only response was the electric bill goes out on the third of each month, whether they receive a bill or not. We were not able to send the bill till the fourth of the month due to a change in the meter. We tried to explain this to them to no avail. so that was the second month with no personal spending checks, due to Sunshine's lack of being professional. we called them at least three times to let them know of the new meter and air conditioning unit. Now we are in October of 2021. It is still a fiasco. They were still with holding my weekly spending stating that they wanted me to having money in my savings in case of another high electric bill. I suppose, since they didn't make note of the new meter or air conditioning unit, they were assuming our electric bill would be high again. so now it has been three months since I have gotten my weekly spending. In reality, it should only have been one month. finally my last issue with Sunshine Financial Payee is; the amount they charge for me to have an account with them. Sunshine is charging me 45.00 a month to bank with them. That is astronomical considering how much I actually get paid on disability a month. I live hand to mouth already. Having that extra 45.00 could really help me out. it's crazy to think a non for profit agency is charging that much for their services. Obviously, they are into making money. So sorry this is so long of a post, but I had a lot to get off my chest. My only other thing I would like to add is, how rude they are to my wife. so, not only are they rude to me, but, to her as well. i would never recommend Sunshine Financial Payee to anyone. In my humble opinion, Sunshine should be shut down. Right now we are working on my wife becoming my payee. I am looking forward to getting rid of Sunshine Financial Payee. Tried to get things straightened out with my son when you call the phone and they're busy writing checks they don't answer that day at all. So you're important phone call is not answered because they're not concerned about your needs. They try to control the phone call and it becomes a one-way conversation they don't let you speak your mind they just want to get their point across and control you as a government does. They're very rudely hung up on me while I was still speaking also. You can't get your money when you need it they want to control the amounts that you get and you can't live a normal life when you have to beg somebody for your money every time you need it. They do not communicate between each other it seemed to be very disorganized. It seem to be taking on more of a load than this company can handle. Was very dissatisfied with the way things were handled other than by one of the employees Michelle which was handling things very fine till she was out due to matters of her own needs. If you can keep from getting a third party like this from handling your Social security money you need to do everything you can to keep it away from this company. If I could give zero instead of one star I would have. They want to control and that's all this is about. We have enough control freaks in this world we don't need them also controlling our money.
