I saw the ad in the Item about a peer to peer group being held every Tuesday at the South HOPE Center, sponsored by the Sumter, SC Combat Veterans Group. I took a chance and went to the next meeting . This group of people were telling each other how to seek help and where to go to get help. I needed help with a claim and I got answers to my question. There were a lot of knowledge in that room and I have to say those guys at the Sumter, SC Combat Veterans Group really understands the system when it comes to filling a VA claim. As a VETERAN nonprofit organization they find ways to help in the community with there Sumter School District MENTOR program. Giving to Schools and Churches in Clarendon, Darlington, Kershaw, Lee, and Sumter. I really am glad I took the time and went to that meeting.
