Mission: Summit fosters relationships between dedicated mentors, parents and their children to encourage children's intellectual, cultural and moral growth.
Programs: Served over 450 students of low-income households. On average, students increased their grade level equivalency by more than 1. 5 years each year they participated in summit, including the summer. Parent surveys show that over 85% of students are showing noticeable improvement in their attitude and effort at school. Parent surveys show that over 80% of students are showing noticeable improvement in their respect, behavior and spirit of service at home. Students in 2016 summer program read and successfully completed oral reports and quizzes on over 225,000 pages of literature.
