We heard about Dr. Levine and Success in Minds through a friend. We read his books and felt that Success in Minds could be beneficial for our son. We homeschool our son and have had to accommodate learning differences for him. He is twice-exceptional--he has a high IQ but has Executive Function Issues as well as Severe Dysgraphia. When we set up an appointment with Success in Minds we were treated with kindness and respect and found them to be extremely knowledgeable in their field. We flew down to their offices in North Carolina and spent an entire day there having our son tested. At the end of the session, we met with the professionals and they explained to us in wonderful deatil all of our son's strengths as well as his weaknesses and gave great suggestions to help further our son's educational plans and help him succeed in college as well as in life. We also have access to their knowledge in the event that we hit a road block in his learning that we are not sure how to address. We have called back 3 times for follow up sessions and have left the phone conferences feeling encouraged and reassured. We had him evaluated previously by other professionals and we walked away feeling discouraged with what the prognosis. We felt nothing like this when dealing with Success with Minds. Our son has a realistic assurance that he can succeed in college and life since dealing with the professionals at Success in Minds. We are eternally grateful for the entire staff at Success in Minds and very highly reccommend them to anyone that finds themselves or their child with learning difficulties confused and looking for answers and assistance.

Causes: Health, Specifically Named Diseases
Mission: To enhance academic and personal success for every learner.
Results: Since our inception in 2007, we've assessed and supported over 600 students. Prior to that, we were the assessment clinic at All Kinds of Minds where we assessed over 4,000 students. Our clinicians continue to refine and individualize our services to meet the diverse needs of our families. We are fortunate to work with students from across the country, and indeed the globe. It is our hope to make this assessment accessible to all students who request services, regardless of their ability to pay.
Target demographics: All students can benefit from understanding how they learn. However, the majority of our students are those that struggle with learning challenges.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Students and their families are the direct beneficiaries of our services.
Programs: The organization provided learning assessments to students with learning difficulties and assisted the students and caregivers be developing learning plans.
