Studer Community Institute is making a difference in our community on so many different levels. Through the "Brain Bags" that parents receive when their infant is born to the robust leadership development programs and courses offered by SCI - virtually and in-person - people are learning, growing, and thriving!
SCI's annual "EntreCon" event brings together world-class speakers and content for attendees participating from throughout the United States and beyond. The two-day event generates ideas, passions, and the fuel to take business leaders to the next level.
I'm incredibly excited to see all of the great things that SCI is doing, and has in store, for our community!
As a member of the Accelerate Round Table program and a recipient of a Brain Bag, I am very appreciative of the services offered by Studer Community Institute. There is substantial value in all they do for the community.
The Studer Community Institute provides critical resources and superior leadership empowering Pensacola’s business and community leaders to transform and elevate our wonderful community. Fantastic organization!
I have had the privelidge of being in three roundtable groups. I always gain so much insight. Highly recommend!
I love everything that Studer Community Institute provides. I am a member of the Emerging Leaders Roundtable Group. I have learned so much about being a leader and I have developed numerous networking and mentor relationships through the process. I have been able to introduce many of the programs and services into my college courses and my students are not only benefiting from those resources but they are getting involved in the community themselves. I also enjoy the conferences and events that the Institue provides. The Student Community Institute is an amazing resource for the Pensacola community.
I enjoy volunteering as a roundtable leader. it's a great opportunity to give back to the community. I thankful SCI provides the planform for it.

The accelerate Roundtable meetings provide those attending relevant practical feedback on our ever changing business challenges.
Every event that i have attended of theirs has been first class. The speakers are always knowledgeable and really great educators on the subjects. I feel like the tools I am given during these symposiums are going to be with me for my entire career. I appreciate being able to attend these events and look forward to more interactions in the future.
SCI continues to transform our community with it's involvement in the development of business leaders, encouragement of entrepreneurship, support of education, and awareness of civic responsibility. It's creation of organizations and events focused on the betterment of our community have added to the quality of life for Pensacola.
This organization makes a difference in the community through economic growth of businesses and individuals through leadership training and mentorship, early brain eduction and civic engagement.
This is one of the great not-for profit organizations in America. It focuses on dramatically improving early learning, encouraging and nurturing emerging leadership development and citizen involvement in community vitalization.
Fantastic organization! I went to my first SCI event this week and it far exceeded my expectations. I've been involved in a lot of professional development training and SCI is first-class.
SCI is focused on creating and sustaining real change in our community by focusing on the root causes of the disparities in economic, educational and social well-being that hold communities back from prosperity. The tagline may seem simple — building brains, building jobs, building community — but it is so powerful. At the heart of SCI's mission is mentoring and skill-building. Mentoring with research-supported tools and strategies for families and caregivers to be better first teachers of children aged birth to 5 so that more children can be ready for kindergarten. Mentoring for entrepreneurs on starting and growing their economic dreams. Mentoring for business owners and employees to grow their skills in leadership so that existing businesses can thrive. Mentoring for citizens through the CivicCon public lecture series that bring subject matter-experts to the city to share best practices in sustainable growth, development, urban-placemaking, housing, homelessness and dozens of other topics that aim to make the community a better place to live, work and play. Every component of SCI — early brain development, entrepreneur support, business and leadership skill-building and civic engagement —tackles an existing, real-world problem with work that can be done in the here and now. Baked into that work is the knowledge that the ultimate return on this investment may take years to truly be felt. Because of the team's belief in driving where the data leads, the road may be long, but final destination will be well worth the journey.
Exceptional training experiences every time! Each speaker is well selected and the content is relevant to many fields.
100% dedicated to improving the quality of life in the community, SCI does so much good and their team are amazing.
They provide amazing training and information to our community and businesses. We are lucky to have Studer Community Institute in our community.

The team is professional, positive and driven - always a pleasure to interact with. The organization works toward educating adults now through CivicCon, community conversations to raise awareness about relevant topics, professional development through trainings and an annual conference, and even goes so far as to look ahead at future generations through the brain bag program in local hospitals. Their commitment to bettering our community is unmatched.
Their dedication to helping families understand their babies starting at birth by providing free resources and counseling is amazing!
Studer Community is a premier gold-standard non-profit whose mission is to improve the quality of life for everyone in the community. Using Early Brain Development as the burning platform, SCI uses it community dashboard to measure progress with metrics, while building capacity through training and development initiatives, creating and supporting entrepreneurship and civic engagement. The interactive entities all work together to help make Pensacola the best place to live.
Retiring after 47 years left me with a blank slate of discretionary time. It did not take me long to connect with the Studer Community Institute and its positive staff. Brittani Hunter reached out and recruited me to volunteer with SCI and their first Leadership Symposium in 2021. What a great way to start a much needed new year! With my previous business involvement and attending the symposium as a volunteer, reinforced to me that strong leadership is positive leadership. When employees grow and flourish so does the business. We all need to inspire others more, especially in the workforce and create a work environment that is both positive and virtuous. The staff is doing a great job and both Brittani and Morgan followed up with a heart felt thank you email and note. I look forward to helping with the next symposium and encourage businesses both large and small to invest in their company and clients by providing the opportunity for their staff to attend. Leadership is important.
I've participated with this nonprofit both as a leader and a volunteer since 2016. Their commitment to leadership development in Pensacola is both inspiring and needed. Their commitment to early childhood development shows they understand building community starts with our youngest residents.
They are committed to improving both work and life on our beautiful emerald coast and also to sharing learned information with other communities worldwide.
I'm very happy to learn and work alongside this nonprofit!
