First, watch the news report at this link: http://fox4kc.com/2011/11/03/problem-solvers-anti-child-sex-trafficking-charity-in-question/

Simple questions SCT has never answered: Why did you refer to Clark Stuart as "our director" when Greg said he wasn't on your staff? What exactly did SCT pay $400,000 to Global Trident for in 2010? What were the specific, third-party-reported results of that expenditure to Global Trident? What is Clark Stuarts role in SCTNow? Did anyone from SCTNow receive any of those funds for any reason? What is the background and CV's of your Board of Directors?

The problem so many of us have with SCTNow is that they have been making claims about using "Elite Operatives" for a long time, but will not answer some basic questions about their personnel training, number of rescues, intelligence sources, or law enforcement involvement. There seems to be no third party verification of their claims. Really, if they had a private army of secret vigilantes operating in the US they would be in violation of state, local, and federal laws. They would be breaking a number of international laws outside the US as well. While it all sounds very romantic, hush-hush, and James Bond - appealing to the testosterone in all of us - the truth with them is very illusive. We have asked our extensive Law Enforcement contacts and they have told us they would never work with a non-profit in the manner in which SCTNow claims to operate. I know they claim to be "from the elite side of ex FBI, special forces, and CIA," but there is no evidence to that claim. Nothing. In fact, if read carefully, their website doesn't claim that they are made up of these professionals, but that they 'use' them. After further digging, we discovered they hire an outside security firm called "Global Trident," that also provides security for car salesman.

The closer we look, the foggier it gets. Dr. Greg Wark is the Executive Director of SCTNow and of another organization: Force Ministries: http://www.forceministries.com/whoweare.php Again, the Force Ministries’ “donation” page is up and running perfectly. The “Reports” page only has a link to an article in a magazine. Other than serving as a Chaplain to police, he has zero military or intel background. His bio states “He currently holds a bachelor's degree in biblical studies, a master's degree in theology and a doctorate in ministry.” So, what is his experience in the military? Force Ministries puts it like this: “While visiting the Naval Special Warfare Base in Coronado, California, Dr. Greg Wark entered into a conversation with a veteran Navy SEAL.” Yes, he spoke to someone in the military once. And from that, people now claim “they are all ex law enforcement, military, CIA, ect, ect.” Does Jason or Matt Gardner have any non-civilian background or experience? Anyone at SCT? If not, why do they hide behind a veil of secrecy while standing on a shaky foundation of false impressions and linguistic spin? If the leadership of SCT is has led otherwise intelligent people to believe something that is not accurate, they have a Christian duty to clarify themselves and begin speaking more succinctly from this point forward.

My experience with SCTNow was great! The mission of going after the buyers of children for sex is revolutionary. Former special operatives/Navy SEALS...you can't get a better group of warriors than that. SCTNOW brings awareness, lets general public participate in the fight and has a tangible real solution to the fight against child sexual slavery. GO SCTNOW!!!

I was able to contribute only a small amount of funds to this organization, but they treated me like all the other donors, with high respect and professionalism. I was asked to donate by a participant in another state and was leery about the online process, but it was easy and safe.

When I was asked to donate to Stop Child Trafficking Now, I wanted to know more about the organization so I went to their website. One thing I wanted to know was how are they going to spend the donation they’re asking for. With one click of the mouse I had that information. I was in absolute awe over that. Most nonprofit organizations bury that information under page after page of disinformation. SCTNow’s mission and they’re willingness to divulge their financial information so easily convinced me that they’re an organization I will continue to support.

I worked with SCTNow as a Community Ambassador for their fundraising walk in Portland, Oregon. It was an amazing experience and I felt so blessed to be part of it! I was appointed late after another woman stepped down from the job, but SCTNow was there to give support and help me out whenever I needed it. I never felt alone in the organization process and I was so passionate about the cause! I feel strongly that this type of organization is the most needed to prevent trafficking and exploitation, by stopping the demand. The leaders and founders are really great people and I never regretted helping out or asking all my friends and family for donations. I know it's all going to a great place.
