Mission: StoryBook Treasures Inc. (SBT) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to putting the best children's books in the hands of children. We use the most sought after children’s literature to help children create vital lifelong literacy connections. Our proven program makes children love books and love to read. Our first priority is to partner with educators, parents and children within a school or educational setting. We provide professional development, training, children’s books, and supplemental teaching materials to implement the SBT program. Each child receives a personal copy of each book introduced through our program. Once literacy connections are established within the classroom setting, children bring their book home to share with family members. Ultimately the books become part of the child’s home library collection to be read and loved over and over. SBT is especially dedicated to reaching out to schools in our country's most economically disadvantaged communities. Our team works directly with Title 1 schools to find funds to fully implement the SBT program.

Children know the storyline and reread the story over and over. • Children complete mini books in class with their teacher and bring the books home to share with their parents.
