Causes: Family Services for Adolescent Parents
Mission: The primary purpose of still waters is to provide support and positive solutions for unplanned pregnancies, abstinence education, character development, and abortion/sexual abuse recovery.
Programs: Through the diligent work of five paid part-time employees and various volunteers, the organization offered both pregnancy options counseling and support and ministry to 328 clients in 2016. Through these efforts several clients decided against having an abortion and many others accepted jesus christ as their savior.
through the hard work of four part-time employees and numerous volunteers the organization was able to hold events and speaking engagements to witness to young women about the numerous hazards of premarital sex, pregnancy prevention through abstinence, abortion couseling and counseling related to emotional and mental recovery for those who had decided to abort their babies.
the organization was able to provide educational materials and numerous other items to many individuals in need, including maternity clothing, diapers, formula, cribs, strollers and miscellaneous and sundry items related to caring for a young child that a teen mom cannot afford to provide.
