Mission: Stewpot Community Services provides compassionate assistance, at no charge, to people in need of physical and spiritual nourishment. Through our ministries, we serve people who are hungry, poor, and homeless, offering food, shelter, clothing, mentoring, care and concern. At Stewpot, we believe that we all are fed through our fellowship with one another and that we are all stronger when we are offering our gifts on behalf of others.
Results: For over 40 years, Stewpot has provided dependable, compassionate support for our neighbors in need, offering services such as the noontime meal served every day of the year. While we continue to operate crucial programs to address food insecurity, Stewpot's ministries have also evolved over the years to meet the ever-changing needs of our neighbors experiencing homelessness and poverty. Stewpot, which began as a simple soup kitchen, has developed into an organization offering several different programs- from shelter, to clothing, to outreach, to children's programs.
