Programs: Residential substance use treatment programs:the fall river men's recovery home operates a twenty-three bed residential substance use treatment facility. Men may reside in this program for up to a six month period. The fall river women's therapeutic community operates a twenty-eight bed residential substance use treatment facility for women and women with infants. Women may reside in this program for up to a one-year period. The new bedford women's therapeutic community operates a twenty bed residential substance use treatment facility for women and women with infants. Women may reside in this program for up to a one-year period. These programs serve individuals in need of long-term substance use treatment. They offer a home-like atmosphere, with on-site individual and group counseling, case management and other supportive services. For the fiscal year 2017, the organization provided 421 clients with 26,002 service units.
permanent supportive housing programs:stone residence provides 22 single room occupancy units of permanent supportive housing to chronic homeless individuals disabled with co-occurring disorders. Next step home provides supportive services in up to 50 scattered site apartments in the city of fall river to disabled homeless and chronic homeless individuals and families. Hiv case management provides a supportive living environment and subsidized housing combined with medical case management services for 10 clients living with hiv/aids. These programs serve homeless and chronic homeless individuals in need of housing in combination with supportive services. Services include case management and integrated wrap around services including on-site mental health and substance abuse treatment through our project roar and project faihr. Projects roar and faihr are made available through a grant provided by the united states substance abuse and mental health services administration (samhsa)for fiscal year 2017, the organization provided 129 clients with 31,629 service units.
transitional and graduate housing:the william b webster graduate program provides graduate housing and case management services to women and men completing steppingstone's residential treatment programs. Individuals in other treatment programs or in the community who have been sober/clean for at least 3 months may also apply to the graduate program. The length of stay is up to one-year. The new bedford women's graduate program provides graduate housing and case management services to women completing the new bedford residential treatment program. Women in other treatment programs or in the community who have been sober/clean for at least 3 months may also apply to the graduate program. The length of stay is up to two-years. Transition house provides housing and supportive services to ten homeless disabled individuals. The length of stay is up to two-yearsthese programs serve individuals in need of long-term substance use treatment. They offer a home-like atmosphere, with on-site case management and other supportive services. For fiscal year 2017, the organization provided 39 clients with 8,742 service units.
