I love volunteering with Stepping Stones Safe Haven, Inc. because being able to provide a safe place to a single women with her children is priceless. I love sitting at the front window when a new lady walks in and immediately she feels comfortable because she is welcomed and given encouragement.

I am the Executive Director at Stepping Stones Safe Haven. I have seen first hand how greatly our organization has impacted many lives of women and children who are experiencing homelessness. We have not only assisted in getting clients childcare, jobs, and housing, but we have also taught life skills, built a support system for our clients through a volunteer base, and succeeded in making many clients feel valued and empowered for the first time in their lives. I am extremely proud of the impact our organization makes in our community, and I am even more proud that we continue to grow and expand our programming as a christian based organization.
