Mission: Step by Step Worldwide Ministries exists to rescue Abandoned Children with Special Needs. Our International base is established in Ghana, West Africa, and as the Lord leads, we will expand to other nations on the continent of Africa and beyond. The children we are called to rescue, love, and care for, are seen as the lowest and the least, often times labeled as spiritual outcasts due to their disabilities. Our commitment is to provide each child and young adult with our Three-Fold purpose, "A Home - A Hope - A Future." We as a mission organization and family of faith, have committed to love unconditionally, show Christ-like compassion to the destitute, while using whatever gifts and resources we have, to help meet the needs of not only the children we receive, but also those in the local community.
Results: We are continually working with the Government of Ghana and the Department of Social Welfare, to rescue abandoned children with Special Needs. As of July 2022, we have (13) children at home with us, and two additional children in various stages with the courts, seeking permanent custody orders. We anticipate a total of (20) children within the next year of 2023; and as we expand, we hope to bring home an unlimited number over the next ten years, with the construction of a one-of-a-kind Special Needs Community.
Target demographics: Abandoned Children with Special Needs
Direct beneficiaries per year: We have been granted full 501c3 non-profit status and are licensed to operate in the nation of Ghana. We have been awarded GuideStar's "Platinum" transparency rating for two years now. We now have (13) disabled children, and house a total of twenty-six people, including our beloved caregivers. We are expanding quickly and in the process of building second home to receive more children. As far as the outlying community, through freshwater "Bore hole" wells, we provide water to nearly two hundred people and families every month.

Programs: Our Three-fold Purpose - "A Home, A Hope, A Future" is to provide these three facets in spirit, mind, and body, for every child we receive. Each child is given opportunity to thrive in an environment of love. We teach, provide medical and therapy services, wheelchairs, walkers, training equipment, and all apparatus necessary to help them manage their disabilities. This is their home for a lifetime. We provide free water to our community with a drilled bore hole well, an accessible children's library, for not only our children and residents, but also for those in the local community, and we have an evening evangelism program featuring films for children and adults.
