There can't be a better cause to help out! I attended a workshop hosted by STEM Generation and personally met the President (Eric). He was very nice and worked with the children with patience and care.
It's a relatively small nonprofit, but I could care less. They are making great impact and helping students around the country.

Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Children & Youth, Education, Youth Development Programs
Mission: We believe that every child deserves a good education. Across the US, we work tirelessly to help children in poor communities achieve more and realize their full potential. We help underfunded schools get materials, promote STEM education among students, and strive to prepare the next generation of thinkers, believers, and doers for success and excellence.
Results: Through our eduSTEM program, we have raised more than 6,000 textbooks and reference materials worth nearly $100,000. All of these were donated to schools in need. We are also working with hundreds of administrators and teachers across the country to introduce new lab equipment and classroom technology. In addition, through our SciWorks program, we are hosting interactive STEM workshops for children and teens to explore their passion in. Our SciWorks program target to have 2,000 attendees by the end of 2020!
