We visited this place Feb. 2020! If you go to this place you are helping and supporting animal abuse. I'm completely disgusted and sick to my stomach that I gave this place any money! I have never felt so strongly about a situation in my life. This is a for profit establishment also known as Dade City's Wild Things. The animals are kept in SMALL, secluded, deplorable conditions. I'm totally shocked at anyone that can write a good review about this place. Half way through the tour I was sick to my stomach and overly depressed by what I was seeing. Even my 10 year old looked at me and said "this is sad" and my 15 year old who is a huge animal lover was extremely upset. You are also no allowed to take video or pictures. Honestly I think this is to keep they way they are keeping these animals a secret. They also offer encounters to hold or swim with animals such as baby tigers, sloths, otters. Please know that these animals do not want to swim or be held. After we went we found that the owner has been charged with fraud and they have been trying to shut this place down for abuse on the animals. There is a video on PETA's website showing these people prepare (abuse) these animals for your encounters. Its so wrong and the whole place is cringe worthy. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ANIMALS DO NOT GO HERE! There are other places that actually care about the animals in the area you can visit. Please do your research on this place and help give a voice to these beautiful animals who can not speak for themselves!!!

They stand accused by the state of Florida for embezzle funds meant for their animals. They have tiger cub petting. The problem with that is when the tigers grow up and can no longer be petted, the tigers become expensive liabilities instead of profit positive and wind up abandoned or criminally neglected. This organization moved animals out of state apparently to avoid a court ordered investigation of animal abuse. http://www.tampabay.com/news/environment/wildlife/dade-citys-wild-things-uses-hundreds-of-thousands-in-zoo-donations-for/2340513?utm_content=buffer1d73d&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer
