Mission: The Mission of The State of Texas Kidney Foundation is to improve the health and well being of people at risk or affected by kidney disease, through education, prevention and support and by increasing organ donation and transplantation.

Programs: Texas Kidney Check offers free screening for early signs of kidney disease. Since kidney disease symptoms are usually silent, we try to identify the disease early, before it has a chance to progress. If left untreated, kidney disease can progress to End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) which can only be treated through dialysis or a kidney transplant.
