Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Homeless & Housing, Temporary Housing
Mission: Our Mission in empowering others towards self-sufficiency. Starts With Love Foundation supports and empowers individuals by providing safe and clean housing. We are working to end homelessness by offering transitional housing to assist in moving others toward self-sufficiency. We feel strongly in what the Bible says about “For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself” Galatians 5:14. That phrase is also repeated throughout scripture. Think about all that could be accomplished if we all lived out our days following this verse.
Results: Number of people served to-date: 96 In 2023, 16 men and 19 women were provided safe and clean housing. Ages served: 18-61 Ethnicities served: African-American: 4 Caucasian: 62 Hispanic: 13 Native American: 16 Asian: 1 Additional Classifications served: Domestic Violence Survivors: 8 LGTBQIA+: 5 Veteran: 2 SMI: 8 TBI: 2
Target demographics: People recovering from substance use disorder, domestic violence, and veterans who need additional support.
