Programs: In fiscal year 2013, in addition to general solicitation of charitable contributions, the stanly regional medical center foundation added several major donors (those giving in excess of $10k over ten years) to the roster of the stanly society, had over 200 employees who gave 1 hour pay per month back to the foundation as members of the presidents club, and held three public fundraisers that netted over $123,782. This included $47,443 in unrestricted funds which were placed into the endowment, $26,972 restricted for free mammograms, and $49,367 restricted for the child advocacy center. The foundation funded over a dozen health care projects and programs within stanly health services and awarded scholarships to two students.
