Mission: Transform minnesota's transportation system to strengthen communities, improve opportunity and health for all people, foster a sound economy, and protect natural resources.
Programs: Advocacymove minnesota is a bold and effective advocate, building an active grassroots base to transform transportation in minnesota. Our advocacy program helps residents across the state tell the stories of how transportation influences their lives and the future of our region. In addition to on-the-ground organizing, move minnesota leads a statewide coalition of over 50 partner organizations and thousands of individual supporters calling on the state legislature to increase funding for bus, rail, bicycling, and walking.
community engagementmove minnesota engages community members who have historically been left out of transportation planning, including communities of color, people with disabilities, people with low incomes, women, youth, and more. Our community engagement includes opportunities like listening sessions, bicycle rides, corridor- or project-related outreach, and more.
educationmove minnesota's educational work focuses on inspiring people to ride transit, bike, walk, car-share, and ride-share. Our educational programming connects residents, commuters, and employers with sustainable options for getting around. By sharing knowledge and providing hands-on opportunities, we ensure that minnesotans can access transportation choices, and have the tools they need to change their minds and habits.
