Causes: Family Services for Adolescent Parents
Mission: Child welfare services
Target demographics: families, women and children
Geographic areas served: Illinois and the Chicagoland region
Programs: Domestic adoption program:we provide services to all families including traditional, same sex, and single individuals who wish to have a family. We provide home studies, licensing, post placement, and all other services that adoptive families require. Our counselors provide individualized emotional support and counseling services for these families to ensure their readiness to accept and adopt children when they are matched.
maternity service program:we provide services to pregnant and parenting women. Options and ongoing counseling services are available to any woman experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, postpartum depression/anxiety, grief and loss of a pregnancy, and adjustment to motherhood. Our maternity services are freee. Our maternity counselors meet with clients in our office or travel to them in cases involving unplanned pregnancy. These women are in need of food, shelter, transportation, their basic needs of life, which we aim to support them through our programs and referrals, to take the stress off of them. We are available 24/7 to the clients to women considering their options and are open Monday - Friday 8:30-4:30 for counseling clients.
