Mission: The district management corporation was formed to improve the economic and social conditions of the springfield avenue center special improvement district in irvington, new jersey by providing a safe and clean enviroment for the general public, businesses and property owners.
Programs: To provide a clean and safe enviroment for commerce and to revitalize the district, the organizarion has instituted programs to renovate the common areas and commercial streets and sidewalks.
to improve business economic condition in the district by holding commemorative and holiday events, sponsoring other local events with participation of business owners. To market the district with the general public and citizens of the district to encourage participation in local festivals, holiday celebrations and events.
to promote public awareness and commerce in the district, the organization creates advertising and marketing programs, such as web site information, newsletters, and news media advertising. Programs also include street pole flags, holiday lighting, and various projects aimed at improving community relations.
