The exec team is very impressive. Elliott, Deb and team are real innovators in re-thinking how the education-training-workplace continuum should function in 21st century America. Hopefully, "regime change at home", in the next few months, will lead to more governmental interest in greater funding of organizations like Springboard Forward. In the meantime, I'm glad they (Springboard Forward) seem to be executing on their mission and providing real value to businesses.
Springboard is an innovative nonprofit. I'm impressed at their ability to focus on helping a whole system versus just bandaging a problem. Their program is focused on helping those individuals at the poverty level better themselves and the companies they work for by offering a highly effective and replicable program. It has been my privilege to work with them and look forward to collaborating further.
Springboard Forward provides one-on-one career coaching to low wage workers, and I was fortunate to coach for them all last summer, and am about to do another project for them now. I love the people at SpringBoard Forward, and the work they are doing. I actually went looking for them, because my own person mission is to bring coaching to people who would not otherwise be able to get it; to support them in their progress toward better jobs, better pay, and more hope for the future. Springboard Forward is one of only a handful of small non-profits providing this service, and I hope they will grow and prosper and I will continue to help them do so.
