Causes: Emergency Assistance, Human Services
Mission: Guide low-income households to free resources in the Spokane area. Deliver free food, clothing, hygiene items, and household cleaning products to meet basic needs.
Results: Over 250 households served between November 2020 and May 2022. Many of those households found resources (agencies and organizations) for housing, childcare, and food assistance, for example.
Target demographics: financially-insecure individuals and families
Direct beneficiaries per year: 100 low-income households
Geographic areas served: Spokane, Spokane Valley, and Airway Heights, Washington
Programs: (a) navigation to free resources in the community and (2) delivery of basic essentials (food, clothing, hygiene items, household cleaning products)
