The foundation in conjunction with sierra pacific flyfishers provided equipment and assistance with the national trout in the classroom projects of the federation of fly fishers. Also, in conjunction with sierra pacific flyfishers the foundation sponsored eleven seminars on fly fishing in various locations.

Classroom instruction on fishing techniques and releasing of the fish back to their habitat. Within the same classes of instruction, students were instructed on the stream at piru creek. Additional classes held on stream in various techniques used to catch trout with nymph flies.
