Causes: Community Coalitions
Mission: To provide education, advocacy, and support for paratroopers affected by the complexities of military service.
Programs: The space coast paratroopers association has furthered the comradeship among former paratroopers by creating and operating the homes for warriors program, a community of volunteers building and refurbishing mortgage-free homes for hospitalized, disabled and needy veterans and their family dependents. This has resulted in establishing economic empowerment for these families during a difficult transition from active military service to disabled veteran status. By expanding the volunteer program to the outside community the homes for warriors program has encouraged patriotism throughout the state of florida.
