Causes: Neighborhood & Block Associations

Mission: These three Hartford neighborhoods represent some of the most economically depressed areas in Connecticut. Approximately 25,000 people live in this targeted area which is approximately 2 square miles. It is predominantly Hispanic and is among the poorest and most blighted group of neighborhoods in the city of Hartford. Through a comprehensive strategy, SINA and its member institutions look to improve the quality of life for the community through initiatives that focus on education, housing, economic development, public safety and community development.
